Just got back from the doctors

Well, I just got back from the doctors. He said that he is 99% sure that it is not Crohns like my grandmother had. That was a big relief! He is putting me on Robinul. Anyone taking this? He said I have IBS, but if things don't get better by my next visit that is in Feb. he will need to do a colonoscopy. I really hope I feel better with these meds. Another thing, I did something really dumb last night and ate a piece of pizza. Not very smart thinking on my part, I am really suffering today. Well, I hope I am on my way to a better feeling tummy!!

I'm taking Robinul. It helped me with the severe attacks but it has not stabilized me. I've been trying to do that with diet, peppermint caps and the teas. I'm going in for another colonospopy next week to make sure my Crohn's is still in remission.
The Robinul makes me tired. But I've had that problem with all of the meds my doctor has given me for the IBS. I hope it works for you. Take care!

Yes I do have both unfortunately. Makes it a little tricky to figure out how to treat things when the symptoms are both so similar! (I have IBS-D)
