I'M VERY NEW AT ANY OF THIS, SO ANY SUGGESTIONS THAT ANYONE CAN GIVE I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE. I AM 43 YEARS OLD, MARRIED WITH TWO CHILDREN(AGES 19 AND 13) I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS IN SEPT AND IT HAS BEEN DOWN HILL SINCE THEN. I HAVE HAD TEST AFTER TEST WITH ALL OF THEM BEING NEGATIVE. THE GI DOCTOR KEEPS TELLING ME I HAVE IBS-C. WHICH I DO BELIEVE BUT TRYING TO FIND WHAT IS RIGHT FOR ME HAS BEEN VERY DIFFICULT. AFTER THE PAIN DEBILITATING PAIN CONTINUED, I HAD MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED; THE OP REPORT AND THE PICTURES ACTUALLY PROVED THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REMOVED. I WAS VERY ELATED TO KNOW OR THINK THAT I WASN'T GOING CRAZY. I KNEW SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT. BUT ALL OF MY TEST WERE NEGATIVE???? I THOUGHT MY TROBLES WERE OVER BUT I WAS WRONG. I CONTINUALLY HAVE UPPER ABDOMINAL PAIN, CRAMPS ETC. IT'S VERY HARD TO EXPLAIN. I HAVE A JOB AND CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS. I HAVE ORDERED HEATHER'S BOOK BUT ANY INPUT FROM OTHERS WOULD BE WONDERFUL. THANKS DANA

First, you need to stop typing in all CAPS. In computer language it looks like your shouting.. thanks....I think first you need to make sure you have IBS, as I have read so many times on here, that IBS can mimic a lot of different Gi problems that need different treatment. I have learned fiber is a huge part of IBS, knowing what kind and how much is a long process!! Water, water, water is also a big thing. drink lots, personally besides my tummy teas, water is all I drink. I can't offer any other advice because I'm not stable and have yet to get stable, but I do know you will learn a lot once you ready Heather's book. What tests have you had that were negative?
