Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has problems eating anything in the morning. I generally wake up hungry and took the advice of the board taking my morning acacia 1/2 before eating breakfast (generally oatmeal or rice chex with vanilla almond milk). I always have a lot of discomfort (gas, random pains either low or high) or it just feels like my body is unhappy to have anything put in it. This morning i overslept and so just had the acacia, and it happened too. It felt like my insides were twisting and turning, or that it had to have a bm, but then nothing comes out. It takes hours for my body to settle down and I guess i just don't undertand. has anyone had this problem too??
Thanks so much,
Laura

Have you tried drinking something first? Or eating really small amounts?
I get up around 7, but don't usually eat until 9. I have a cup of herbal tea though, and that seems to gently wake up my stomach. I mix my fiber into my oatmeal then.
ETA: and if you didn't regularly eat breakfast before, it may take a while to retrain your body to expect it. I was an inconsistent breakfast eater, and it took a month or so to get my body to expect it.

Maybe I'll try not taking acacia first thing - drinking tea and then eating. I always eat breakfast - this morning was the first morning in ages that I didn't. I bike to work and need something in my system, but nothing seems to want to go in. Thanks for the advice,
Laura
