It MUST be that time of the month. I could KILL someone for something chocolate. Brownies, candy - whatever. I searched the recipe boards for chocolate but only found one recipe. Anyone have any recipes or easy to pick up foods that contain that magical ingredient? Pleeaaasssee!

Look under desserts and go to Brownies. I personally like the anti-depressant brownies because they're cake-like, rather than fudgey, but try them yourself and see.

I satisfy my chocolate cravings with Almond Breeze chocolate almond milk or a Chocolate Peppermint Luna Bar.

Almond Breeze Chocolate almond milk is so good. I also like Great Grandma's Chocolate Applesauce Cake recipe from the EFI Cookbook. I make it in loaves like banana bread.

Yes, there are a TON of brownie recipes under desserts. Or, another option that I like is Chocolate Cake for One. Also, No Pudge brownie mix is yummy too.
There are lots more on the Recipe Index.
Enjoy!

You can find this recipe on the index. You go buy No Pudge brownie mix and follow the recipe for a single serving made in the microwave- use soy milk or soy yogurt. I usually make a double serving in a coffee cup.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Have you checked the IBS Recipes from the home page on the left? (Not just the recipe board) If you go into desserts you can find some chocolate things or even shakes/smoothies. I hear you...nothing like chocolate to cool those hormones!! Hope you find something you like. (I will eat a Luna Bar...Nutz Over Chocolate...once in awhile to take the edge off...usually just half a bar does it...strange taste at first but easy to get used to and have handy for cravings like this)
