Has anyone noticed that if they don't get enough sleep they tend to eat more. I was doing great a couple of weeks ago. I had the week between Christmas and New Years off and I would sleep in every day (my body needs lots of sleep) and then I would get up and exercise and eat breakfast and then do my routine. Anyway, I was really doing great with eating good things and small amounts...the week after I went back to work and the first couple of days were okay, but then I noticed that I start eating more at work and it isn't even that I am hungry, but I think it could be that I am tired and my body tells me to eat to keep me awake (alert)....anyone else notice this, or am I totally off???

Lots of people often turn to food when they're tired. In fact, most times, they're just dehydrated. Try increasing your waters daily - sip throughout the day. Always keep a bottle going at work. Also, maybe try planning out snacks during the day will keep you from having too many. IE. schedule a mid morning and afternoon snack - and take the food with you so you don't get into something that's going to upset your tummy.
Bananas are awesome - full of great energy creating stuff. Applesauce, a protein drink (non dairy), ....
Don't think I can't relate - I'm on heavy duty meds that leave me chronically exhausted. Know that just woke up feeling? I feel that ALL DAY. Hang in there!

That must be really difficult to have that early morning feeling all day! I can't complain then!!!
Thanks for the advice! I do drink a lot every day (at least 6 12 oz. cups of tea and water to match....but I do notice on the days that I binge I don't drink as much!!!! I bring in snacks, but when I am overtired I just seem to go from one snack right to another without even being hungry. I was getting up at 5:00 to do pilates, but the past couple of days have stayed in bed until 5:45 -6:00 and I seem to be in better control.
Thanks again!
