Hi, with the recent East Coast weather, how it's been warm, I've had a cold which I feel is due to the weather being uncharactertiscally hot.
I wanted to know if when you have a cold if the IBS being worse is a common symptom. Thanks.

Yes, mine does, and it does when my allergies flare up, too. Part of it may be eating much less -- lack of appetite -- part of it is the drugs I take for the cold, and part is the post-nasal drip.

My tummy always seems to get touchy when I have a cold, even if it's very mild and only lasts a couple of days.

I noticed this a lot more before I was stable... the slightest hint of something making me sniffle, and my guts would get all wonky. It's gotten a lot better since I stabilized, but I still have to be VERY careful about how much cold/allergy medicine I take... anything other than Benadryl seems to bug me in larger amounts.
Anyway, rambling aside... yes, it's very possible.
