My friend's husband does not have IBS...no digestive issues, but he is allergic to wheat/gluten and corn. His reaction is different than ours (gets tired, congested). Anyhow, he eats oatmeal for breakfast every day but would love to have cold cereal, as he can drink real milk with it. It is difficult for him to find something that is corn free also. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Barbara's Bakery makes Honey Rice Puffins and Brown Rice Crisps which are both made with rice only. You might be able to find these in the health food section of a regular supermarket, and they would definitely be available at a HFS.

How about Rice Chex? I don't know enough about gluten to know if it qualifies, but here's the nutritional info:

the rice chex have barley malt, which he cannot have.
I love perky's cereals, they are nut and gluten free, the two that i eat are nutty rice and nutty flax, the nutty flax is amazing, crunchy, toasty, made with sorghum flour, low in sugar and high in fiber. http://www.naturespath.com/health_diet/celiac_diets the above is a link to natures path, if you scroll down you will find a list of their gluten free products, their products are widely available in reg and HFS.
