Ok, I am not sure if this is in the most appropriate board here, but I have a question that I hope everyone one will see and read.
I recently was watching or rather listening to an informercial on the Television and heard someone talking about upper cervical adjustments that are received from Chiropractic specialists. A woman was explaining that she had a bowel syndrome problem and that she had suffered with symptoms that I hear about here and suffer from myself. She went on to explain that she was at hopes end and heard about upper cervical chiropractic adjustments and that after two she was cured from this syndrome???
Has anyone else heard of this??? Have you experienced it and does it really work??? What do you think about this???

I believe that Heather says that it hasn't done much for her, and she doesn't have any research that supports chiropractic care for IBS.
That being said, I'm just starting chiropractic care for IBS (I've been told it can help by other people) and for a handful of other physical ailments.
Do a board search. I just did one once I started chiropractic care a week or two ago, and there were a few posts.
Either way, it won't hurt you to get your spine checked out.

A good chiropractor is much more than a spinal-adjuster. Mine is truly a healer and has improved the quality of my life tremendously. He hasn't cured my IBS unfortunately, but I suspect I do feel better than I would otherwise.
I've gone to a few that only do spinal adjustments and have gotten nothing from it.
