The IBS diet has helped me very much. Monitering my food intake has been a blessing. The right combo of SF and ISF makes all the difference. Only i'm still having one problem. Every morning my first Bm is at 6:00. And as far as BM's go, from a 1 to 10 I rate it as a 10. And every morning about 2 hours later I have to go again! Only this one is always bad. Round two has made me late for work I dont know how many times. I give it a rating of 1 out of 10. The only thing I noticed is I someteams eat at 10:00pm and I think this irritates my bowels somehow for the next morning. Is this possible? What time should someone stop eating before sleeping?

I've read that the general rule (outside of IBS) is three hours before bedtime.

I stop eating at least and hour and a half before bed. I also try to have a dose of Acacia late in the evening and first thing when waking up to keep my system happy.

10PM sounds pretty late for eating a major meal. I'm not sure if you meant that was your dinner or just a snack. But I would stick to having dinner 3 hours before bed and then maybe a safe SF snack before bed. You can even take your Acacia then. Also, you don't say what happens in the morning between 6AM and 8AM. Are you eating anything and if so,what? I am prone to D and I really have to stick to primarily SF in the morning (well...I guess oatmeal is SF and IF). I'm just not ready for anything risky, as the mornings are often tough for me too. But make sure you eat something after that 6AM bm...pre-breakfast...something to stabalize you. And take your SF supplement too if you take one. Good luck
