I have been taking Heather's Acacia Fiber Powder for two days now and everytime I take it, it burns my mouth and throat for a while afterwards. I read the label and it doesn't say anything about this happening. Does anyone else have this problem?

No. What are you taking it in (water, juice tea) and how much at a time?

No...not at all.... are you mixing it with the peppermint tea? Maybe you are sensitive to that....

I am putting it in my oatmeal twice a day. I was on a fiber suppliment before so my body is used to the extra fiber. I am using 1 tablespoon each time. This morning it was ok, so I guess I just had to get used to it. How long does it usually take for us IBS C sufferers to notice a difference?
Looking forward to hearing from everyone that this has helped...

If acacia can produce an allergic reaction, even if it occurs very rare, won't be helpful to post a precautionary warning on the main website?

Yes, I think that would be a great idea. Heather knows about it, (she posted an answer yesterday to my post) so hopefully she will do that. I was really scared when this happened to me.
