I have some Fennel Tummy Tea that I ordered last April (2005). It hasn't done much for me lately - is it possible that it's expired?
Just curious...

It won't "expire", per se... but herbs (and that would include fennel) do lose their potency after a time, especially if they happen to be exposed to light or heat.
You may need to use 2 teabags, or at least try letting it steep longer, to get the same strength you're used to.

I have a question about fennel tea bags. It says to put in 8ozs of hot boiled water, but I like to drip my water in a small Mr. Coffee so if I use the tea bag with more than 8 oz water will I get less effect?

Yes, it will be weaker relative to the amount of water you use. If it's not strong enough to work for you with extra water, try using two teabags.

Thanks so much. I kept waiting for it to work and now realize I used way too much water. I'll go try it the way you say on your container as my tummy is really hurting right now. Tomorrow I'll try the 2 tea bags in my morning hot water routine.
