Hi Everyone,

It's been awhile since I've been on the Boards. I love Heather's Diet, and love the recipes, but, I do not see alot about people who are gluten intolerant and who cannot digest all purpose flour, which many, many of the delicious recipes are made of.

Does anyone have any ideas or how do you deal with that? The flour makes me even sicker and EXTREMELY bloated and gassy. (Gross )

Any suggestions would be helpful and sooo appreciated.

Thanks, all.

Sunni

I see there is such thing as gluten free flour. What about rice flour? Is that OK?

you usually can't use just rice flour in most recipes unless just a little amount of flour is called for, the only reason is that the recipe might wind up kinda crumbly, not the end of the world. you can buy good gf flour mixes that have a good blend that mimics all purpose without the gluten. bob's red mill makes a gf all purpose and gluten free baking which gives a more fluffy outcome. Many other companies do other ones as well. look up gluten free mall etc online and you can see all that is available, there is tons if you know where to look and don't mind ordering online
Good luck
