Since no one replied to my long-ass post, I will make a shorter one here. what are foods that you can have with you camping that are safe to eat? Things that don't have to be refrigerated? I will have a camping stove but no refrigerator. I eat soooo many eggs so this will be kinda hard for me. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for your reply hon!
Well I can put some things in a cooler, but I will be in the desert for a week and it is well over 100 degrees and crazy hot.... I can buy ice when I'm there but that makes everything wet and nasty. I will have to see how motivated i am with that. It's annoying to get ice there, kinda complicated to explain!

From what I've read here on the board. Honeycombs, pretzels, soft torilla shells, baked tostitos, graham crackers, soy crisps, rice cakes..........

If you're going to have a cooler, I would suggest a couple Luna bars. You could also take some of the individual Silk soy milk containers, they don't need refrigeration & they're a great snack. Here's a few more suggestions:

Poptop cans of fruit in juice
Applesauce cups
Fruit roll ups
Pretzels
IBS-safe packets of oatmeal (since you'll have a stove to heat water)
dry cereal

Plus here's a link to a list of quick, portable foods.
