A few months ago I ordered the Acacia powder and Fennel Tea.. I get wicked gas and flatuence with the Acacia. Started with 1tsp per day, then used 2 tsp per day.

Right now I'm very overwhelmed. Not knowing what to try next. I just ordered the Hypnosis for IBS kit. I've got 5 weeks until doc does endoscopy (check for celiac). This is consuming me. It's wearing me down, down, down, down down...

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. My advice would be to go off the Acacia for a few days. Assuming the gas and flatulence settle down, start the Acacia again, but very slowly. I started with 1/4 teaspoon per day and went up by 1/4 teaspoon every 3 days. As for the fennel tea, make sure you're getting enough - at least 3 cups a day. I assume you're on Heather's EFI Diet. Try avoiding the gas producing vegetables as much as possible.

Good luck with your tests.

Thank you... I will certainly try doing 1/4tsp increments of Acacia.. I need to start over again with the EFI diet. I'm all out of whack again.. A lot of the foods I guess I'll have to aquire a taste for.
