I've been on these Boards for a year and finally it occured to me to ask whether there might be an easier way of doing things. When I do a search, which yields a list of results (posts), and I start looking at each resulting post, and then I read all of the other posts associated with that post, is there a quicker way to then return to my original search results without having to press back, back, back, back....? Does this make any sense?

Here is something you can try if the following things are true

1. Your browser is Internet Explorer 5 or 6
2. The Autocomplete feature is turned on
(see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=217148 )

Make sure AutoComplete for Forms is checked.

Assume you typed in the search word 'banana' and found a number of items. You scanned these results for a while and then decide you want to return to the original search list. If you place your cursor in the search field and type the letter b a drop down menu should appear containing all the search words or phrase you recently used that started with the letter b. You select 'banana' and then redo the search.

If the list gets too long go back to the AutoComplete setup proceedure and click on 'Clear Forms'

NOTE: Search terms that you used in Google and other search engines, etc that start with the letter b will also appear in the list unless your clear forms.
