I've got floaters in my toilet!! (my poop floats) hehehe I've heard that COULD mean that I'm getting enough fiber?!!? So, I'm kinda happy about this... I'm hoping that is the case...if so, then my first can of Acacia is doing the trick!!

Is that what floaters means? That you're getting enough fiber? Usually when that happens to me I feel like my body is just digesting too quickly and I'm not absorbing any nutrients from my food (this is usually accompanied by me being hungry and tired all day).

I'm not 100% sure that is what it means.... I just heard that "somewhere"... so I'm gonna do more research on the subject and maybe if others KNOW they can share that info with us too!

I get this "floater" syndrome all the time. I looked it up a long time ago & the answer I got was that it's from the production of a lot of METHANE gas.

On a side funny note, Jason was asking what I was doing on the computer and I told him that he didn't want to know. So he got curious and asked again, so I told him, "I'm reading about Shell's floaters". He and his roommate both go, "What?" with a weird expression on their face and then shake their heads at me.
It was funny.

So far...I've read that it could be a lot of gas, high fat, good amount of fiber.... not sure which is "correct" OR maybe it COULD mean any of those things.....

Shell,
You are so funny! When I first saw this I thought you were talking about floaters in your eye. After my detached retina experience I was worried for you. LOL!
Keep on floating girl!

Hmmmm...I got a "7." How much fiber do you figure you're getting now that you're doing Acacia, Shell? (Average total day estimate, lately)
Most days I eat 50-60g from my anal calculations.

For details about floating stools see http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003128.htm
It has nothing to do with fibre. It is caused by excess gas and malabsorption of nutrients.
