no matter what i eat.. i have problems... i was getting really gassy and bloated everyday no matter what i did or didnt eat...

took gluten into consideration.. now ive been avoiding gluten and less gas and bloating but a little bit of pain.. that i can deal with

i have an appt on tuesday to get tested for celiacs... are there any other blood tests i should have done? what are the common ones you all go for? i need to get them done all at once... i have blood-injury phobia... it goes beyond feaR..i pass out.. just thinking about it now i feel sick.. so if i can get a few tests done at once.. i want to because after i do this test i dont know when i can work up the guts to go again..

Justme, here is Heather's page that talks about what tests are needed to move toward an IBS diagnosis. Not all of them are blood tests (thankfully!): I am thinking they should be able to do all the bloodwork with only one blood draw, assuming they know which tests need to be ordered. That's where you come in... be sure to communicate with your Dr. about your needs.

A couple months ago, we had a health fair at my office, and they were able to check for all kinds of things with just one vial of my blood.
