Does the dairy exclusion include products that come from other animals, such as goats or sheep? I've read anecdotally that goat products are used by some who can't tolerate cow products, but have not been able to clarify whether this is applicable to IBS.

never mind... I found some more info by digging a little deeper on the boards (my first search term didn't work, so I tried a couple others). Thanks, though!

GaiasSong,
If you find out that goat or sheep milk is safe for IBS, please let me know. I always wanted to try goat milk b/c I read in the The Makers Diet book from Jordan's Rubin that goat milk is the best. I drink soy milk, but I would like to know if I feel better drinking goat milk.
Thank you so much! Blessings, Abi
