Hi all.
I spent 3 1/2 weeks in Spain whining about how bad the food was. Everything was fried...meat, fish...everything was served with a fried egg and french fries, and cheese! So, there was little that I could eat other than the safe white bread at every meal.

So, I was really excited to come home and eat great food. I've still been rather careful but not only have I had some tummy grumbles, mild nausea and trapped gas, my C has turned to D!

What to do? Am I just adjusting? Do I need to start over from the beginning with the first stages of the diet or should I still give this a few days? Any ideas?

I find that international travel minimally gives me major gas, and usually I get some D, too: the altitude changes, the climate changes, the time changes, etc.

I say give it a few days and see if things fix themselves. Do be careful in what you eat, but I don't think you need to go back to square one.

Feel better soon!

I have found that when I have a flare up I have to eat very carefully (pretty much only SF) until my gut gets back to normal. Your GI tract is probably vey irritated and needs time to heal again.
