I take my first dose of acacia in the morning, first thing, with a cup of fennel tea. No problem. I take my first peppermint capsule before lunch - typically ~30 minutes before. Then, I need to take both a peppermint capsule and acacia (again, with fennel tea) before dinner. Now, how do I time this? The peppermint is supposed to be taken on an empty stomach one hour before eating. So do I drink my pre-dinner tea/acacia before or after the peppermint capsule, and how much time needs to be between each? And what's the minimum amount of time I can allow between each of those and dinner? I guess I would also like some general clarification as to how much time needs to pass between eating/drinking and taking a peppermint capsule, in order for it to be most effective.
Thanks! Lisa, IBS-C

I take my Acacia first thing in the am and once again last thing at night. The peppermint caps are supposed to be taken one hour (I've done 30 min) ahead of time. The caps have been tricky for me because frequently I'm a last minute eater (no 30min warning). I have taken them with my meal with no ill effects most times but sometimes that doesn't work out. It does get tricky planning all the supplements. Good luck.

the Tummy Fiber and teas are totally flexible, and can be taken before, during, or after meals.
For the caps, in general the rule for taking on an empty stomach is one hour before, or two hours after, a meal. As lots of folks find they can vary this a bit, and take the caps 30 minutes before a meal (I actually take them right before a meal, but I'm not prone to heartburn).
I wouldn't short the 2 hours after a meal rule, and if you can push it to 3 that's probably better. You just don't want a full stomach when you take the caps.
