I've been taking Citricell for quite a while and keep reading about how terrific Acacia is. Has anyone used both and can tell me how they responded differently to each? Citricell seems to be a lot cheaper so I'll stay with it unless Acacia is much better.

What did you find out? I am new as the meal preparer for my hubby who has had IBS for 10 years and is just starting to try the diet. Thanks. Linda

They are two different types of soluble fiber supplement. If you are stable with citrucel, then it's okay to stay on it. A lot of people like acacia because you get so much fiber in a relatively small dosage, and it's flavorless.
Also, a lot of citrucel products have artificial sweeteners, so make sure yours doesn't! That's a big trigger!

though not nearly as much as Benefiber. Both are more expensive than Acacia on a gram per gram basis.
