i have to be taking 2000mg of vitamin c for the next 8 wks. i'm taking it in four 500mg doses, with food, and it's, according to the label, a 'gentle buffered formula.' and yet today, on my second day, i'm feeling... unstable. no attack, but i just feel a little off. anyone (stable folks - i'm an a) take vitamin C without trouble? any advice? (i already took precautionary immodium, too.)

I'm able to take it in pretty hefty amounts. It's included in my multivitamin and I take it with a meal. I take as much as 1g a day which is the equivalent of 1,667% of the DRV. You're taking 2,000 mg, that would be 2g, right? I would take it with food and get lots of extra fluids. Whenever I up my water intake things always seem to be easier on me (meds and what-not).
