i read somewhere.. either here on the boards or in the book that instant pudding is lactose free so i picked up a box at the grocery store.. i only had SILKS VERY VANILLA SOY MILK... so i used that... pretty yummy.. a little on the sweet side... but cures that chocolate craving

Just be sure to check the ingredients on the box. Generally speaking, Jello brand is the safest - store brands can be iffy. Also, some of the instant varieties DO contain milk products... the absolute safest is to get the Jello brand pudding that you have to cook. The consistency comes out better than instant, too.

Mmmm, chocolate. I haven't had pudding in a while - I know what I'm picking up at the store today!
