I'm getting very frustrated. I don't know what to do anymore.. In regards to everyone's help, I picked up a relaxation CD and thankfully feel normal again. (So thanks again for suggesting the cds.. great tools) No more panic attacks or feelings of being overwhelmed. However, I'm eatting safe foods but i'm still getting attacks of D.

Normally if it is a food thing (say the first time I ate alfredo sauce not completly understanding ibs) I would have a D attack within 1-3 hours, be ill for a couple hours and then all good, but now, I ate supper around 5pm yesterday and got a violent attack at 9:30 this morning. How can I plan around the IBS if I don't know when it's going to hit me anymore?

The only thing I can think of (other than possibly food) is stress but if while i'm awake, I don't seem stressed (or at least I don't think so) but perhaps since I was dreaming about work at the time(and work is stupid and stressful right now) that could have put me into an attack?

I wouldn't rule out stressful dreams as a cause of symtpoms. You never know. There are a lot of people who have irregular attack times. Some people have attacks immediately after a trigger, some people a couple days later. Some people have no consistency with timing. What did you eat last night? If you're not stable, even safe foods can get you sometimes. Not fair, I know.
