Hello- i have been trying the IBS diet for about 4 weeks. Some weeks i am better than others. But i have some questions: Is any herbal tea ok? What about green tea? Why only french bread? but English muffins are ok? I get horrible "explosive" (embarassing) gas - what can i do? BM's are not regular in any way, somedays very loose, some days none.
There may already be answers to these questions somewhere but i haven't figured out how to naviagate around the message board.
Thanks for your help! I sure need it.

Casey Lee, You might want to try Colon Hydrotherapy. It has worked wonders for all of my IBS patients. You still need to follow the IBS diet and Acacia, ect. Quote:

At the very beginning of this board are some "pinned" topics that will help you navigate and find things. I found them most helpful.

The herbal teas that are recommended is Peppermint, Fennel, and Chamomile, there are probably a few more but those are the big 3. I think the green tea has tannins that can be bad for IBSers. One of the best things for gas is the fennel tea, and exercise helps too.
