I just got back from a day-long visit yesterday with my 8-month-old granddaughter...seems she's inherited the IBS thing from me. The poor little girl has exactly the same problems that I had from infancy, and still have today at age 52. I'm giving my daughter loads of advice on how to deal with this on a daily basis, as I'm sure it will be a lifelong issue. I'm once again so thankful to this website and all the info and support it provides; where would we be without it!! Hope all are having a great Memorial Day weekend...

At 8 months it may just be her body still learning how to process foods. There are a lot of foods children can't have until age 1 because it is to rough on the digestive system or can cause allergic reactions.
