I have spring/seasonal allergies and I am miserable right now and I want to take something for it, so I was looking into claritin D or something equal. My question is that a possible side effect of claritin D states diarrhea. Has anyone else had luck with meds for allergies. HELP!!!

Tony

I've tried Claritin and it hasn't ever caused D for me. Though it didn't do much for my allergies either. But some people seem to have luck with it. I've also taken Allegra which worked really well for my allergies and didn't bother my IBS. It made me very sleepy though.

i hate to brag, but i am the queen of allergies! my ent dr told me that i'm allergic to the state of ri, which isn't good since i dont plan to move!! i have been taking zyrtec which has been the best med for me. i also get weekly allergy shots. zyrtec doesnt seem to interfere with my ibs. although, when i have postnasal drip, i seem to have constipation.. go figure!!
