Hello everyone,
I was just diagnosed with IBS after 6 years of pain. I heard about the IBS diet plan that you can do for 2 weeks to get your body back on track...I was told it is in Heathers book and on the website, but I am having so much trouble finding it? Can someone please get me started on the right track? ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif)
Thank you so much!

Hi and welcome to the boards! I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through six years before getting a diagnosis. ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif)
Anyway, Eating for IBS is not a 2-week plan. It is a way to change your eating to help keep your IBS under control - it's for good, not for 2 weeks. If you are in the midst of attacks right now, you can try Breaking the Cycle.
Try starting to read up on some info here, and just read through the site & books if you have them to get a basic understanding of the diet, then let us know what questions you have.
