i'm interested in buying acacia tummy fibre, but i'm in the uk. I notice the postage calculated on the site goes up quite quickly. $12 for 1 can or $9 for a pouch. $15 for 2. Each can or pouch is 1lb.
However, according to usps, I should be able to buy up to 4lbs for $9.50 postage.
According to usps, these envelopes take up to 4lb.
Global Priority Mail - Flat-rate Envelope (Large) $9.50 Global Priority Mail - Flat-rate Envelope (Small) $5.25
Do the cans have lids, so they're easily resealable? If so, I would like to buy 2 cans of heather acacia tummy fibre. If not, i'll buy a pouch and a can. So 2lbs total weight.

they'd never fit. We can fit up to two bags in an envelope, but after that we need to go to boxes. Foreign shipping is quite expensive - we try to just break even on it.

Hi - shipping is based on quantity of items, and there's no way in every individual order to distinguish at the time the order is placed between different types of items, the type of packing material needed, and what the final exact shipping cost will be. So the actual cost of shipping two cans of Acacia, for example, is drastically more than the cost of shipping two bags. The shipping costs are set up to break even as often as possible - for the majority of orders the charged and actual costs are nearly identical, for a number of orders (especially those with cans) we're actually undercharging for shipping, for other orders there's an overcharge. It all depends on exactly is what ordered and we've set up the parameters as best and inexpensively as we can. There is simply no way to charge the exact shipping cost for every individual order, every single time. There are too many variations in item weight, size, shape, etc.
Best, Heather
