Does anybody know if kettle chips are safe to eat?
They are hand cooked, they are suitable for vegetarians apparently and gluten free. I am a huge crisps fan and am a little bit unsureof what i can eat? There seems to be less choice here in the UK!!!!

as they're still fried, they're too high in fat for ibs - you could potentially handle a few (a very few) after a safe meal, but even that could be too much. baked chips are a safer bet - some people don't handle them well, but some really do.

Be sure to check the fat content. If they are high in fat DO NOT eat them on an empty stomach or without some sort of SF base. IT's best to avoid high-fat chips, but now that I'm stable I can enjoy a small handful of them with a meal that's high in SF and low in fat.

One of my frined working for a company invented these and the company took them as their own since he was working for them.

He is in the process soon of inventing some new ones.

Excellent! Some new chips! Ask him to invent something IBS safe.

I'm from Oregon too, Willamette Valley, so I think I might know the company you're speaking of?

I don't know if you can get this variety in the UK...but I eat these quite often. They are low fat and safe soluble fiber. Kettle Chips

These are the ones I get sometimes. I can't tell if they are the same as Beth's with just different packaging. Anyway, I've found them at Whole Foods and my local regular grocery store.
