Hi Sherri,
I really feel for you regarding your son. If your son has IBS - he will not out grow it. My experience is Peds. don't have a lot of knowlege about children and IBS. Shawn gave you great info. to read.
My nine year son has his yearly check up on Wednesday and he is seeing a new doctor. I'm hoping he knows about what causes stomach pain in children. My son has had two attacks along with headaches this past week. I find this very concerning.
I am armed with info. thanks to Heather and Shawn providing great information about children and stomach pain.
Best of luck figuring out triggers for you and your son.
