Ask your dr about miralax. I've taken it for years now. Its an osmotic prescription laxative. It works by pulling water into your colon, no hard chemicals. Do a board search and you'll get all kinds of info on it!

Hi Beth, No, it's not. It is a dissacharide sugar that we cannot digest so it is inert just like polyethylene glycol (Miralax), and fundamentally works the same way as Miralax does. It possibly may even work better and have less side effects than Miralax. I don't know, I've never tried nor do I know anybody who has. -Bob

I tried that b4 and it made me sick. Gas, cramps, etc.

I tired Miralax and it made me sick as well. Every laxitive I've tried has made me really ill. My bowels can't handle them.
