The ones I have tried are soooooo bland......ugh!!! Course, I only tired the plain ones. Do they come in flavors & if so, which ones are ok?
Also, think Peaches says animal crackers are ok. What other snacks are ok??? What kinds of crackers????
Tks.

I like the apple cinnamon rice cakes - sometimes I spread a small (very small!) amount of low fat peanut butter on it. Yum!
Low fat crackers are okay, & check the ingredeints. Here's a recent thread on crackers: What kind of crackes do you eat? Plus you can have pretzels, baked potato chips, baked tortilla chips.

Hi - I like the rice cakes at the health food store, pretty much all the brands there. If you are eating them plain, I would suggest making sure they have a little salt in them -- it gives them more flavor. Also they are really good with apple butter on them. They may have some flavors, too, at the health food store and I'm sure there are some at the regular grocery store with flavors -- but read the labels, because they might add alot of bad stuff and I know some of them have cheese in them.

I haven't checked to see what anyone else said, but I love Quakes, which are mini rice cakes that are so much crispier and better tasting than the usual big ones. I especially enjoy the caramel and apple cinnamon flavors, and would rather have them than potato chips any day!

Hi Kree,
Thanks, they sound delicious. Am wondering where you find them.......since I see you and I both live in Rochester, NY.!!! Sometimes it's a REALLY small world!
Am also wondering what GI Doc. you see and if you feel he is good. I mean does he take time to talk to you re your symptoms and do all the TESTS???? The one I have seems mostly to just do procedures and you only get to see the PA.
Are you in college here or are you actually fr. Rochester? My daughter grad. fr. Roberts Wesleyan and then got her masters at Nazareth. She teaches here.
REALLY nice to meet you and hope to hear from you.
