Had some asparagus that I put in the blender and it was terrific. My question, is it worth investing in a VitaMix type of high powered blender or with the old Oster work just as good? If i had the money i would probably get one, becuase they are hard-core. expecially if you do make alot of smooties or puree or make soups, or more. if you use it not that often, i'd stick with a blender, thats my personal opinion anyway...
