I read your Eating for IBS book which is absolutely fabulous! And a saving grace...given that I have put
up with IBS for more years than I know. After reading your book and studying nutrition, I'm beginning
to see the pivotal role that fiber plays in the diet of IBS sufferers.

So I wanted to ask whether you would recommend Fiber One cereal? I can't seem to figure out whether
it is soluble or insoluble fiber...I don't usually eat it plain but just add maybe a 1/2 cup to my Rice Chex.
Thanks for the help.

Hi - what are the ingredients? I'm guessing this is a wheat bran cereal, which would be really high in insoluble fiber. If that's the case, be careful. Adding a bit to your Rice Chex is a good idea...start with 1/4 cup and see how you do, and if you're okay you could increase that a bit.
