ive read alot on the ibs diet on this site for a while and so far its helped.i saw my dietian a week or so ago and she told me different.she said i can eat red meat,and start adding diary back into my diet and eating whole wheat things.is this true?if not why?

My dietician says the same thing and so does my GI doc. but with me, this diet hasn't worked yet.
If you are doing well on this diet, why mess with it? For more freedom?

A lot of doctors just don't understand IBS and what the triggers are, and particularly, how diet can affect it positively or negatively. It's our job to educate 'em.

its very hard though!they say everyone is different!i know diary can flare up symptoms but i wonder if products with diary in them like garnola bars is ok?
