Has anyone tried this product? Here's a paragraph about it from my local paper:

A new study showed that a probiotic product containing Bifidobacterium infantis was significantly better than placebo for symptoms of constipation and diarrhea associated with IBS. A Proctor & Gamble product called Bifantis was used in the research.

It looks like another probiotic blend. There are several that contain the strain you referred to. I guess it will depend on how your body responds to probiotic use. Hope this helps.

wait for it to come out in the stores. I can't wait to try it once the stores start carrying it. Perhaps it is no better than any other probiotic I have tried...but I like the fact that it has research behind it. Then again, Proctor and Gamble want to make money. So who knows if this is really any better.

I just read a 4 page thread about this on the selfhelpforibs.com website and there were too many people that didn't really experience any positive effects from it. There were only a couple of people that thought it hd made a difference in their symptoms. So, I don't think it would be beneficial for me to try. Especially for $29.99. That's a little pricy for me.

I knew it was too good to be true. Just like the Digestive Advantage....full of promises and did diddly squat.

It is cheaper than primal defense though.

Don't get discouraged. Probiotic response is as individual as any other supplement. All any of us can do is try to find what works for our bodies. This particular strain of bacteria is present in other brands at a much cheaper price. I found several on iherb. I'm a jarrodophilus EPS gal myself. Hang in there!!

That's True!! It is cheaper than the Primal, but I have noticed positive results with the Primal Defense. It just takes FOREVER.....I was on it 2 years ago and it really helped me. NO miracle, of course, and I still had to follow the diet and all that stuff, but it did help with the gas, eventually. I just started taking it again last month, so I won't see results for probably another couple of months because I can only handle 2 a day or I will get really bad D!!

Take Care!
