Is there any difference between the two? They are both 125 mg simethicone right?

Phazyme is 180 mg I believe. They are the same thing .. but Gas-X now contains artificial sweeteners which are no-no's. I would definitely go with the Phazyme.

Yea Phayzyme is 180 while gas-x is 125. I found phyazyme acually helped me, whereas Gas-X really didn't. If anything, Gas-x just made the gas keep expelling (but it was still there, it didnt diminish), where as Phayzyme actaully (temporarily) stopped the gas. Guess its just a matter of seeing what works best for you.

I was at the drugstore yesterday to get something since I've been having gas problems. All of the Gas-X and generic Gas-X products contain sorbitol, an artifical sweetener that is not IBS-safe. Phazymes do not.
