Please note that this is for pictures that I host ONLY! If I'm not hosting your picture, leave it alone - it's fine!! **If your photo URL does not start with http://img.photobucket.com, or if your profile pic is showing just fine, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!**

* * * * *

I'm going to post this in the other forums as well. I'd also appreciate it if people could "bump" this now and then, so everyone sees it. Thanks!

I'm moving all of the IBS board profile pictures to a separate folder. You must make the following change to your profile picture URL, or it will show up as a broken image.

1. Go to "My Home", near the top of the page.

2. Scroll down to where it says "Personal Information", and click on the "Edit" link.

3. Scroll down through the page, to where it says "URL to your picture". The URL should look something like this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/atomicrose/imagename.jpg

Change it so that it reads:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/atomicrose/ibs/imagename.jpg

4. Click submit to save it and you're done!

If you're really, truly, completely stuck, you may email me WITH YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD and I will fix it for you.

In the future, DO NOT email me pictures for posting in threads. I only do profile pictures. If you have other pictures you'd like to post, use the services of http://tinypic.com

I'll be moving the pictures in about 5 minutes.

Mine is in my own photo album on a server, so I assume it won't change?

I am clueless when it comes to things like posting my photo. I submitted my photo to Heather who posted it for me a few years ago. Do I need to make the changes? If so, I'm not sure I am capable of doing so.

No, as I said in the very first line of the post... new

If I don't host your picture - meaning, you haven't sent me a picture for posting in the past 6 months or so - then you're fine and you don't need to make any changes. This is a heads-up for the people who are logging on today to suddenly find that they don't have a userpic - this is why.

is just a way to bring a post back up to the front page(s).

People generally do this because when there's lots of volume on the boards, it's easy for posts to get lost on the back pages and for people to miss them.

To "bump" you just reply to a post with the word "bump" in the subject line, as Casey has done. Sometimes people also say "bump for a paritcular person", if they want a particular person to read that post
