Heather seems to be having national influence! Note: " Do be aware that raw fruits and vegetables and whole grain breads may not be good alternatives for kids IBD." Granted, the recipes are not IBS safe (too much fat!) but I still think it's great people are FINALLY acknowledging a)that raw stuff ain't so great for IBS b)everyone with IBS is different Now if we could just them to see fat's a BIG issue for most of us

Very cool

I teach Pre K 4 and it really makes me mad to see how much sugar and fat these kids carry in thier lunch boxes. I'm toaly for that lunch box make over. My kids asked me for lunchables (there is a kosher version of it) and I told them no, but created an at home low fat version of it.
IBS or not, Kids just Don't need all that junk food.

I'm not a totaly boring mom. My kids do get a sugary desset and one junk food snack for recess. If they want anything else it's usually fruit or a bag of cereal.
