I just bought some from my food coop here. However, there's no ingredients label on it, so I don't know exactly what's in it. I had some many years ago and remember it being rather tastey. -Bob

It is technically safe but full of fat like peanut butter. It can be successfully used in small amounts in dips and sauce and then is yummy and safe! I like this recipe from Gourmet. It should be served with a low fat SF sidedish like bread or couscous.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

It *should* just be sesame seeds, pureed, with maybe some oil for smoothness. Like LM said, it's very high-fat, like peanut butter... but thankfully a little goes a long way.
