Hi Heather and all! I'm SO delighted to have found this wonderful network of positive and uplifting friends!! After losing 97 lbs. in 7 months, and fainting a few times in my class-room (not good to fall on handicapped 3,4,and 5 year olds)--I teach Early Childhood;Special Ed., I was diagnosed with severe depression and even underwent ECT treatments (yes, electric-shock!) before Mayo Clinic in Minnesota nailed down IBS. (I guess you could have said I was "depressed"...gee, ya THINK?!) That was in the fall of 2000. Today, I am retired, and on disability. IBS is my daily "foe". What a THRILL to find on-line friends with whom to battle it! [color:blue] [/color]
