Just thought I'd pass this on for anyone who takes it for granted that these are still safe. They now contain Sorbitol.
I tried generic brands at Walgreens, Jewel (Equaline), and Walmart. These all used to be safe...but no more. I bought Phayzyme instead...much more expensive.
If anyone finds a generic brand please post the store and brand you bought.

how about just plain no name brand simethicone capsules. That is what I take. They are the store brand "gas relief" capsules and waaaaaaay cheaper than gas-x, etc

Are these chewables? Why did they add sorbitol?? I usually buy the cheap little green simethicone capsules. I look for whichever one has the highest amount of simethicone per capsule & that's the one I buy. Of course, I have to add here that I'm not sensitive to sorbitol, so some of mine may have had it without me realizing it.

...not just the chewables anymore. Brand name Gas X has always had sorbitol, but the generics used to be safe. No more.

The local grocery store here (HyVee) doesn't put Sorbitol in theirs... thankfully. I think it depends on where you are and where you shop.
