Bifidus- Anyone know anything about it? Please help

Hi
I was wondering if it's safe and if you can take Bifidus with IBS med. I'm taking Dicetel. Thanks.
I'd love to try Bifidus since I have severe pain and bloating.

I just took my first dose this AM! I'm trying Ambrotose 1/2 teaspoon a day, it's supoosed to boost the immune system and Acidphyllopdius and bifidus(have no idea on the spelling, sorry!) they are both probiotics and was told they would not interfer with other meds. They are supposed to aid in digestion, help with gas and bloating and regulate the colon. I know there have been other postings on probiotics, do a search. I've been told they can take a few weeks to a month to start helping, but I'll keep you posted!

Hi Angel; just to let you know that I take one Acidophilus-Bifidus every morning with my breakfast. The brand is by Webber. It does not interfere with the meds. It says to take 1 with each meal, but I just take 1 a day. How have you been feeling lately? Sue

Hi
I'm still really bad. I'll get Bifidus as soon as possible. I went to the doc to get birth control since my period is worse! Last time I nearly died it was so bad! The doc ( or so he claim to be one!) stares at me blankly when I tell him my IBS is severe. He acts like I'm not talking English! He says I look ok. Yeah right! My stomach is so swollen beyond belief! I'm so sick I had to force myself to go to the doc's. I had wait so long I thought I was going to pass out! He thinks IBS is very very mild. He could care less. I'm going to make another appointment to see another doc.
