I've been doing pretty well since my last post here...no bad episodes or anything since then. I do have a question, however, and this seems to be the place to ask it. Does anyone ever have trouble with pain/discomfort on their left side by their waistline? I have this occasionally-- it feels like food gets "hung up" there; I suppose from the spasms that I get now and then. Just wondered if I'm alone in this; I'd appreciate any input, again...and again, thanks for "listening"...

Welcome back! I experience pain primarily on my right side too, but usually on the upper righthand side. Sometimes I get that feeling on the lower right side that you're talking about, though. I have no idea why this happens, but I'd love to know if there's a reason that my pain is usually focused on the right side. Anyone spoken to a doctor about this?

That is exactly where mine bothers me the most. it always feels like there's a big ball of gas waiting to go somewhere, RIGHT there, ALL the time. it's miserable!

Hi, The lower left on your waist line would be where the sigmoid colon is. Yes!, I have that all the time. Recently I just made a post about that. -Bob
