Like the title says: Does anyone have any BBQ sauces that have no HFCS and are kosher? Best bet is any out-of-place-symbol with a K in it or a circle with a U in the middle. If you're not sure, describe the symbol and I'll figure it out.

Trader Joe's has a great BBQ sauce that is free from HFCS - I don't see any symbol - what makes something kosher or not?
Anyway here are the ingredients: water tomato sugar molasses distilled vinegar salt corn starch spices onion garlic hickory smoke flavor caramel color natural flavors
I see they have five locations in Pennsylvania: PENNSYLVANIA • Abington • Ardmore • Center City • Media • Wayne
I buy about 80% of my groceries at Trader Joe's.
Hope this helps, Leigh

Do you know the brand name? And if it's kosher it will have a symbol on it....do you see it on this list? Trader Joe's Kosher List

I would assume if you use kosher ingredients then the resulting BBQ would be kosher so here's my dad's BBQ recipe... 1 C tomato Sauce 1 C Brown sugar 1 C vinegar oregano parsley cinnamon yellow mustard (dijon works nicely too) instant coffee garlic powder onion powder liquid smoke tobasco soy sauce
You can start with the base and then experiment with the spices/other ingredients until it tastes right. I personally like some thyme and apple juice concentrate for a slightly tangy sweet flavor. Mmmmm...yummy! Rena

The name is TJ's Bold & Smoky Kansas City Barbecue Sauce.
I looked at the link to the kosher list (pretty cool)- It says all products are Trader Joe's brand unless indicated in italics.
So maybe this won't work for you - sorry.
I am curious though - can you enlighten me with what makes one BBQ sauce kosher and another BBQ sauce not kosher (or other food products for that matter) ??? Just wondering.
Thanks, Leigh
