Difficulties with recipes

I do have a major problem !

I cannot find most of the incredients for the recipes in Germany´! Especially the sourdough bread.......and many others. Is there a source for German recipes ?
I am so greatful for help !!!!!!!!!

Stick with the basics (SF = white bread, white rice, pasta, potatoes, etc) and the general guidelines (no triggers, low fat, SF basis) and you'll be fine. The recipe index and the recipe exchange are a great source of recipes so you can go through them and find some that you *can* get the ingredients for.

I live in Belgium and can't find ingredients for most of the recipes in Heather's cookbook. We don't have HFS's here and what they do have in the way of ingredients isn't exactly right. I've pretty much just had to cook things on my own that are safe. Can you get baguettes at the Backerei in Germany? Also try the kaiser rolls there as well. I hope this helps...I don't have an answer for you about IBS safe German recipes...my D flares up terribly when I'm in Germany becuase the food can be pretty rich.
