So I forget who mentioned that they take this and really like it? I wanted to see if anyone else has any comments about it? Is it basically another SFS? What do you all think?

I'm a little leary of this product...assuming we all need our insides purged from imagined poison is usually a sure side of quackery.

I decided to take it based on what I've read about it on the web. Dr. Andrew Weil promotes this herb as safe, non addicting treatment for constipation. It is suppose to be something that the bowels don't become dependent on. Actually it seems like it is suppose to help the bowels get stronger. I took that as triphala helps "heal" and strengthen the bowesls. I don't know. But after much research, I made a choice to try it. Am I scared it may be causing harm? Sort of. But I haven't come across anything that says it is bad. All the stuff on the web has said positive things about it.

Honestly, I have been taking this for about a couple months now, and do not notice any difference at all in digestion, bowel movements, etc. I ran out a few days ago and don't really notice anything different. I may go get some more and take it again to see if there is a change.

It says it tonifies and strengthens the system.

I was using Triphala twice per day for at least 2 months and didn't see any change in my bowel movements or anything. I believe it is very safe, but not sure. It didn't do anything for me though.

I want to err on the side of caution, but all the websites I've visited, including Dr. Andrew Weil, say this herb is totally safe for everyday use and that it actually tones the GI system the more you use it.

The website discourage senna and cascara, so I am more inclined to believe they are reputable. Some of the sights have been for selling the product, but others have no financial investment at all, so don't have anything to gain by promoting the product.

But, still I wonder....

Sorry it didn't work for you. I thought this would be a good solution for me, so constipated and not having found a solution yet.
