please can somebody answer this question i have posted three times and not had any response surely someone must know. I have been using dairy free mayo but jsut noticed that its fairly high in fat - if i use a very low fat version of dairy containing mayo will this set off an attack ? Also do you know if i can get soya cheese in the uk and is it nice tasting ? please help xx jen

Hi, I use Hellmans brand of mayo, the one with a green lable that says "Just 2 Grams" It has two grams of fat, I assume there is probably some dairy in it but I don't have any problems with small amounts for sandwiches or in tuna. I'm not sure whats available in the uk, but I prefer the taste and texture of rice cheese over soy cheese.

I can eat ordinary light mayonaise with 32% fat if I just use a little. I have actually not tried to eat a lot since my IBS got worse.

Hi- I use Kraft fat free mayo which tastes fine and doesn't trigger IBS in me. Can't help on soy questions-don't eat it. Good luck!
