Kandee,

How much of the Konosyl do you take? Do you mix it with water, juice?

the bloat is gone by morning, and you usually "go" not long after you get up, so that's a double bonus for we "C's".

How do you take the Konsyl at night? Because I cannot fathom taking it without something like oatmeal, I can't drink it and try the Benefiber at night because I can dissolve it in water. Also, my IBS seemed to change a couple of years ago from IBS with C and D to pretty much IBS-C only, and now, when I get C, once I am relieved (sorry for the detail) a few hours later I get nauseated for the rest of the day. This is a somewhat new trend. Typical? I do have an appt. for a Gastro at the end of May. Anyways, I'm getting acupuncture for the first time today for this and my back pain! A little scared but hopeful!! Wish me luck!

Oh good luck with the acupuncture! I'm going to try that for my restless leg syndrome.

I guess I'm the reverse of you in that I take the other SFS in the day time and the Konsyl at night. I put it in water that is in a shaker cup..put the lid on and shake a few times then down it..All this is done with lightening speed because it thickens up faster then a speeding bullet..there really isn't much taste to it...well, a little..somewhat like sawdust..LOL
Don't know how you'd do it at night, maybe in juice? But make sure whatever liquid it's in is at room temperature, not cold.
Good luck if you try this...
or maybe you could eat more Konsyl and oatmeal just before bed????
Try ginger, in one form or another, for the nausea..

From what I gather, it's normal for us to be bloated all day long. I have high hopes for this new medicine because really, I don't know what else to do.
